I wasn’t able to use Avid so I ended up using Final Cut Pro. This project was an adventure for me. I am not use to Final Cut Pro so I was teaching myself as I went along. I learned how to add in a title, add a video translation, how to add B-roll and a lot of other basics. I was very excited once I finished the project because the battle I had with the new program was a hard one. It took me very long to understand how to use it but I am happy that I am familiar with Final Cut Pro now. I made my video more in a documentary style. I only include what he did and why because I believe that was the most important information. I didnt include information about his kids or that they teach black history because I could find a smooth transition to do so. I tired to be difference on my outlook of Project 4. Overall, I enjoyed this challenging project.
This is a 3-min piece on a Grandmother and granddaughter having a conversation. I edited the piece in a way to show the bond that the two have. I tried to show how family meant a lot to both of them. So anything that focused on both of them is something I tried to include in this piece. I found some parts of the full piece were unneeded. Also it was hard to edit out many parts but I believe that this is a good representation of their relationship.
I enjoyed using the photoshop! It gave me a chance to give a entire new outlook on my photos.i enjoy the filters but also like changing the color of the photo. I tried many different stlyes for each photo and it helped me become used to the photoshop.
I took pictures of real people and real things. Nothing was posed or placed. I went on the real strets of Philly beyond the comfort of Temple University. I saw the real community and the real people. I thought pictures of anything or anyone who stood out to me.
A story of life. These photos were taking on the streets if philly. Real people and real things. Nothin was placed or posed. The story reminds me of stories when people die trying to achieve something. Not everybody’s dreams come true. Life has a way of sending you down a hill for years until death.
